As a developer and entrepreneur with roots in both Europe and the U.S., I’ve always sought to blend global innovation with practical living. After relocating to the U.S. and struggling to find a modern, energy-efficient home for my family, I realized we’d have to build the kind of home we truly wanted—one that reflected simplicity, smart design, and a low-maintenance lifestyle.
That personal journey became the foundation for G-Homes Development. Partnering with renowned firm Johnsen Schmaling Architects on our Harmony Grove project, we set out to create homes that reflect timeless aesthetics, sustainable high-quality materials, and real livability—homes where families can thrive with more comfort, more time, and less hassle.
Harmony Grove is a thoughtfully designed pocket neighborhood of 12 ultramodern single-family homes in Grafton, WI—inspired by European beauty and American practicality. Each home reflects a Northern European aesthetic, with tall ceilings, expansive windows, and refined finishes that invite natural light into a clean, modern interior.

The work of Johnsen Schmaling Architects represents a unique synthesis of conceptual rigor, technical know-how, and an unsurpassed attention to detail. Specializing in high-end residential and commercial design, Johnsen Schmaling Architects offers a full range of architectural and design services, from master planning and schematic design to construction administration, furniture design and graphics. The two founding principals, Brian Johnsen and Sebastian Schmaling, have been widely recognized as distinctive emerging voices in contemporary American architecture.
