SHOREWOOD, Wis. (FRG) – Anyone looking to get back outside and enjoy the Wisconsin Winter has a perfect opportunity this weekend as local organizers are hosting the “Shorewood Chill” Saturday, Feb. 5.

The event, hosted at the Ice Rink at Lake Bluff Elementary School in Shorewood, will feature free ice skating, a live DJ, food vendors, and free s’mores and hot chocolate.

Festivities will take place from Noon until 4 p.m. on the south-end of the Lake Bluff Elementary School.

Event officials say that the Shorewood Recreation Department will also hold “field games and more” during Saturday's event.

Organizers state that Saturday’s activities are weather-dependent and to follow @LakeBluffIceRink on Facebook for the latest information on the Shorewood Chill.
