Klode Park Ice Rink Season Underway

WHITEFISH BAY, Wis. (FRG) – A fun, icy tradition is back for area residents this year as the Klode Park Ice Rink in Whitefish Bay opened up to the public.

2022 has brought some chilly temperatures to the North Shore that hinder many of our typical outdoor activities but thankfully create the perfect environment for ice skating!

The Village of Whitefish Bay announced Monday, Jan. 17, that the Klode Park Ice Rink is open for skating from sunrise to 9:00 p.m. daily.

The Klode Ice Rink is just another great, annual event in Whitefish Bay that has taken place for multiple decades at Klode Park.

Village organizers create the rink by flooding the west side main grass field of Klode Park by the warming house. 

Officials say that the Whitefish Bay Public Works staff will provide maintenance to the ice over the course of the winter season.
